Festa/Special Events/Manifestations
So many Umbrian towns and villages have their own “manifestations” , ranging from major medieval re-enactments involving the whole town, to small fete-like affairs. Keep your eyes open for posters, or visit the tourist information office at Castiglione del Lago, and just take a look if one takes your fancy. Some to look out for:

- May – Festa dei Ceri, Gubbio
- May - Calendimaggio (Assissi) - singing and dancing
- Early June – Infiorata del Corpus Dominus, Norcia and Spello (streets/churches decorated with flower petal designs)
- July – Umbria Jazz from ItalyMag.co.uk and from BellaUmbria.net
- July – Trasimeno Blues from BellaUmbria.net and from HotelInUmbria.it
- Early August – Festa dei Barbari, Castel Rigone
- Mid August – Citta della Pieve
- September – Festa dell Uva, Panicale (not very big, but nice and local!)
